_::Traveling seems above all a mental condition. Something that unifies curiosity, eagerness, courage and a natural attitude for what's far away and unseizable. One can travel going from one point to another, or he can travel with his fantasy, remaining at home. One can go back and forth in time with his only mind. Or you can choose to stop it.
This is the line of thought that brings together the works of six contemporary artists: the idea of traveling, between all the possible interpretations that it might have. All working with video.

_::Quella del viaggio sembra soprattutto una condizione mentale. Qualcosa che unisce curiosità, impazienza, coraggio ed una naturale attitudine per quanto è lontano, inafferrabile, altro. Si viaggia spostandosi verso un luogo, si viaggia con la fantasia, rimanendo nel medesimo posto. Con la mente si decide di andare avanti e indietro nel tempo. O si può scegliere di fermarlo.
Questa la linea che accomuna il lavoro di sei artisti contemporanei: un'idea di viaggio, sospesa tra tante possibili interpretazioni. Tutte affidate al video.

>Stefano Cagol isolates fragments of urban landscapes or natural sceneries, modifies the images, rotates them, duplicates, and the result is somehow similar to a Rorschach car: only apparently unrecognizable. The images are often still, the variations in speed get confused with the normal passing of time, audio loops and sampled sounds amplify the sensation of strangeness. 
>Stefano Cagol isola frammenti di paesaggi urbani o scenari naturali, altera l'immagine, la ruota, la duplica, il risultato è simile ad una macchia di Rorschach: solo apparentemente irriconoscibile. La ripresa è quasi sempre fissa, le variazioni di velocità si confondono con il trascorrere normale del tempo, loop e suoni campionati amplificano la sensazione straniante.
