Playing on a bitter pun based on the proximity
between two English terms—warming and warning—the artist invites
us to reflect on the complex mosaic of causes and effects that
influence the present moment and the future, sending out an
inexorable warning signal that spares no one. The red colour of
the pure neon gas recalls both the idea of emergency and
temperature. It looks to switch off, but suddenly restarts as
the alerts remain. The sound opposes the ice cracking and the
sun's waves.

Con un amaro gioco di parole basato sulla
vicinanza tra i termini inglesi "warming" e "warning", l’artista
invita a riflettere sul complesso mosaico di cause ed effetti
che influenzano il momento presente e futuro, inviando un
inesorabile segnale d'allarme che non risparmia nessuno. La luce
rossa del gas neon puro richiama sia l'idea di riscaldamento che
di emergenza Sembra spegnersi, ma si riaccende improvvisamente,
come le emergenze in corso. Il suono contrappone il crepitio del
ghiaccio alle onde del sole.
